Uganda Missions is a ministry made up of long-term and short-term missionaries and Ugandan Nationals, whose goal is to reach the Ugandan people with the good news of the gospel and strengthen the church by providing sound teaching and doctrine. The ministry works in both rural village and inner-city/slum locations and focuses on building schools, orphan ministry, preaching/teaching and putting on crusades and camps to help draw people to hear the Word of God.
From the time we’ve spent in Uganda and from the information we’ve gathered we have discovered a desperate need for discipleship and leadership training within the church. Bibles are hard to come by, and many in the village cannot read, so it can lead to distortion of the truth found in God’s Word. By training the leaders to preach the truth it is our hope that the believers would build their faith on a solid foundation and be less likely to be swayed by false doctrines and worldly ideals. Ministry to youth and children through the schools and orphan ministry are equally as important because the youth is the backbone of the church and society. So the ministry we provide will have a profound impact on the church and Ugandan society to come.
